We want to bring people together who are interested in issues such as social justice, human rights, poverty, globalisation, fair trade, Aids/HIV, peace, environmental issues and third world debt.
CAFOD
A small group is active and fundraises on behalf of the
Catholic Fund for Overseas Development.
Traidcraft
A range of "Fairtrade" products are sold most Sundays after all Masses.

SVP
The Saint Vincent de Paul Society the long established Catholic welfare organisation now deals not only with local people in need, but also supports those overseas as well. Whilst the SVP originally came into being as practical response to the gospel call to feed the hungry, it provides for the full range of corporal and spiritual works of mercy.
SVP members assist when bereavement occurs
Overseas project is in India.
