CHURCHES TOGETHER EWELL
20 – 27th May inclusive (Ascension to Pentecost) the CTE is organising a week of prayer. During this week it hoped to have one or more persons praying every hour from 6am to midnight. Members of all fourteen churches are sharing the rota which covers 18 hours daily.
Participants can pray for whatever they choose, but this year two particular areas for prayer are:
Olympic Games – that the event will be peaceful and the participants will have a friendly welcome in this country…
Queens Diamond Jubilee – that sustained by her Christian faith the queen will continue to exercise the duties of sovereign for the good of the nation.
Choose an hour to pray at home or go to the Prayer Room at West Ewell Evangelical Church. PLEASE PUT YOUR NAMED DOWN
Lists in the narthex. Sign up by May 13th please. See ‘At Home Sheet’ and ‘Prayer Room Sheet’
Our Church will also be open on Tues./Wed. 22nd/23rd May from
8am – 1pm for quiet prayer.
